ClaimsDispatch (CD) was developed in response to lessons learned during unprecedented storm seasons in 2004 and 2005. The events that occurred with such frequency and severity exposed the need for a more effective approach to recording and processing FNOL information. CD was released in 2006. Then, in 2008, Hurricanes Ike and Dolly made landfall in Texas. Functioning as planned, CD was used to efficiently process more than 12,000 claims in a two month period
